When Life Gives You Lemons – What Should You Do?

When Life Gives You Lemons Squeeze Them in People’s Eyes….

Take a closer look at the lemon in the glass – it may prove enlightening.

Notice how the bubbles gather under the lemon and then force their way to the surface. The bubbles don’t let lemons stand in their way, the small bubbles pop together to form bigger bubbles with the strength to slide passed the barrier formed by the lemon.

Live life like the bubbles in this glass and seek out like minded people who will support you to push your way through the barriers in your life that may be holding you back. There is strength in numbers and aligning yourself with others who share your goals, values and dreams can help drive you on to success.

So yes – squeeze lemon juice in the eye of those standing in your way and then gather like the bubbles and work with others to motivate each other to push past your blockages then you can pop to the surface of your life and reveal your brilliance…..

(I’m having a short break so won’t be able to reply. I’m scheduling this post but won’t have internet access to reply straight away. I’d love to still receive your feedback so I can catch up in a few days..)

  1. Lovely post! Encouraging, positive…although I don’t like fizzy drinks, so I would have to make a metaphorical soufflé…lol!

  2. love the insight and metaphor. it’s funny when insights hit you sometimes, isn’t it? thanks for the great thought as I start the day and face some lemons right away. keep on spreading that up lifting message, and celebrating the freedom and ease of “enlightenment”. it’s a great fun path, and CHEERS (audible glasses clinking together is heard in the background..) to finding paths around most lemons- and knowing when to stop and enjoy one now and then for the contrast it DOES provide into our lives! be well and positive my friend, 🙂 momentummikey

    1. Thanks Bella and I’m glad you enjoyed this post. I hope you’re well and I apologise for delayed response – we returned earlier today after a 10 day camping trip which was great until last night when the weather turned to gale force winds – not pleasant in a tent… We still managed to laugh though and it was a ‘lemon of a night’! x

  3. I got a chuckle out of this post. And I must say, what a nifty idea. I have imagined a number of ways to push through over the years, but this lemon squeezing idea is the first that presents as a quick and easy solution. I’m certainly bubbly enough!

  4. We had a lovely time – great fun with some of my family and my 2 granddaughters with lots of laughter (even when we were faced with gale force winds nearly blowing our tent away last night – thanks goodness we’ve all got a sense of humour!!)
