Having 2 very special visitors to visit for their ‘Saturday bath’! – Is there anything cuter than a miniature Yorkshire Terrier pup?……
Apart from double trouble…….They say never work with animals and children – GOOD ADVICE!! – it took forever to get these very poor (but very cute) shots of these adorable miniature Yorkshire Terrier pups!
I love that my sister lives next door and can just ‘pop in’ for a quick catch up….
How lucky I am to have had such a lovely family living next door for the last 20+ years (well – that was when they weren’t going through the real ‘teenager’ bit and we have suffered the various eras of ‘loud music’ over the years ……)?
I love this picture of my sister at her recent 60th (she doesn’t look it does she…) with her 5 daughters and very out numbered son…
And then earlier this (slightly) sunny Sunday afternoon (it is the UK…), one of my nieces noticed me sat in my ‘Brilliance Within’ Hut as she cut through my garden on her way home from work and meandered in to join me for a chat. A little ‘life coaching’ and some encouragement to follow her dreams from her Aunty! – Yep, beautiful moments enjoyed with a beautiful niece who is full of character and has the world to explore!
Then it was time to pop over to my sons to enjoy a lovely Sunday lunch prepared by my beautiful and very brave Daughter in Law Jenny and of course s granddaughters helped to prepare a feast …
I’m afraid the ‘diet’ went out of the window – I simply couldn’t resist the delicious homemade Apple Crumble (oh yes… and the Strawberry Tart…) – and they didn’t last long enough on anyone’s plate for a photo so you’ll just have to take my word for it – YUMMY!
It was a good job I got a great result earlier in the week for my Blood Sugar check which has massively improved… BACK ON Healthy Eating on Monday!!!! – Yes I know – never put anything off until tomorrow that you can do today! – why did Bella from https://thoughtsnlifeblog.com/ blog need to remind me of that tonight ….. so ok ughhh – I’ll give the Aldi Cranberry and white chocolate biscuits a miss and I know a blogger who’ll understand exactly how hard this is to resist!!!! – Yes Ms Autumn… https://intheautumnofmylife.wordpress.com/ You’re going to have to eat another one for me!!!!
Some lovely family fun games before the girlies went to bed and then back home for some tranquil time in my little retreat (How to create a sense of vacation at home) – while hubby watched the European Football final. For me you can’t beat a bit of evening relaxation with a few very aromatic candles… My Brilliance Within hut is lovely in the day but at night with the candles lit it has a truly magical feel!

What an amazing weekend you had!!! First those teeny tiny dogs are just so cute!!! And no your sister does not look 60! Happy Birthday to her!! All those daughters…bet she spoils her son!! 😉 I can only imagine the insightful advice you gave to your niece, lucky girl!! That dinner sounded delicious and btw I thought diets were only Monday – Friday…there are no calories on the weekend, right? I have a Himalayan Salt Crystal Candle holder and I burn candles in it daily! I love burning candles in it…the candle holder is supposed to give out positive energy and even more so with the candle burning. I was so surprised when I reached the end of your post to “see” me…thank you so much Wendy…I am truly grateful to you!! And that picture drawn by your granddaughter definitely made me smile, it’s a masterpiece!! xo

I really have had a ‘simple’ and lovely weekend! My sister’s got 4 puppies – they are absolutely adorable – As you can see I couldn’t resist popping one in a miniature bath that normally holds the soap in my bathroom – just to set the ‘size’ into context.. You’re right Jacob does get ‘slightly’ spoiled but then he also has to put up with the ‘menstrual’ tensions of 5 sisters – yikes! Is that right – diets only Mon-Fri – You learn something new every day – thanks Deb!
Your Himalayan Salt Crystal candle holder sounds fabulous – No wonder your so positive! Have a fabulous week and I look forward to catching up soon – for now though I’m off to bed before hubby kills me – that would ruin the weekend – and could leave some nasty stains on the carpet.. haha xx

They really are – there are 4 altogether but capturing 2 in the picture was difficult enough – they were all dashing off in different directions! haha.. Have a great week x

Yep – a busy but simple weekend packed full of fun (and a few jobs obviously…) topped off with a Sunday dinner made for me – (it’s usually my job) which made a delightful change! x I hope you had a great weekend too and have a fabulous week! Did you eat the biscuit for me – I hope so?
